Want to RP With Me?
My ideal RP partners will fit the following (bolded fuscia shows my main points if you do not feel like wading through all the text):
Make me want to love you
If I do not reply to you within a week, please email me, repeatedly if necessary. I will not get upset. Likely either your email got buried or one of our emails got lost somewhere in the Interwebs.
Make me want to love you
- Quality is more important than length, but please give me enough to work with. I'll write what fits the scene, I'll write what moves the plot forward, and I'll stop where I feel it's an appropriate place to stop to await your character's reply. I expect the same of you and have no post minimum or maximum.
- Develop characters well and be creative with them.
- Contribute to the plot. Don't only reply to everything I said without moving the plot forward at least a little bit.
- As long as I can understand you, I am not too fussy about grammar and spelling.
- Talk to me OOC! I've found that when we do not get together to plan, the RP goes south and dies. Throw our characters into ridiculous scenarios OOC, see what sticks. I love silly plot twists.
- Long term, please! Please let me know if you are going to be away or want to end the RP. If you do not like the RP, we can try another one or just part ways.
- I would prefer a response at least once a week (more is better!). However, if you do usually take longer, just let me know you are a slow replier so I can add another RP to my schedule. :)
- Novel style writing. (i.e. paragraph format, third-person, not a specific length requirement)
- I prefer to RP over email or Discord, though I love to plot over instant messenger.
- I generally only play romance RPs, but plot is still a must! I want action, adventure, drama, crazy stuff happening! Romance can take many forms. It can be dark and dangerous, plain ol' vanilla, poly, unexpected pairings (i.e. character thinks they love one person, a different couple arises instead), forbidden, etc. Hearts can be broken and mended, lies and betrayal can happen. Characters can fall hard for each other, only to discover they're a terrible match. Love can be slow-burning and take quite some time to bloom. There are so many possibilities!
- I will not double just for the sake of giving us each a female. That is ridiculous. If the plot or universe itself works best with doubling (or more), great. If a pair of side characters (and I do throw in a ton of side characters) rises up to become an extra set of main characters, great. I do like multi-character RPs quite a bit, but when the only reason for it is gender, no thank you.
- COMMON SENSE is your best friend! Just please, please think before you do something.
- I mostly only play OCs, but I don't care what characters you play, as long as you play them well.
- Things I like: Wit and banter, drama, quirky characters, characters who have room to grow as people over the course of the RP, dark and gritty plots, morally questionable characters, villains as mains, sexual/romantic tension, crazy plot twists (you don't even have to ask unless we're in a major plot arc!), battles and conflicts, creative fantasy elements, conspiracies, revenge, magic, curses, unique spins on tropes, anything really creative.
- Things I dislike: One-dimensional characters, emo/whiny characters with no redeeming qualities, wet-blanket characters, slice of life.
If I do not reply to you within a week, please email me, repeatedly if necessary. I will not get upset. Likely either your email got buried or one of our emails got lost somewhere in the Interwebs.
Limits
- Romance: I have almost no limits on standard intimate scenes. Nothing too weird (AKA: no extreme guro, scat, etc.) Incest is a maybe, depending on the characters. Mild shota [characters are 13-17] is okay in some settings. Mpreg you would really have to have an amazing reason which makes sense in the universe we are writing in. Sex does not automatically equal romance.
- Language: No limits.
- Violence/Gore: No limits.
- Dark Themes: (Drugs, abuse, evil characters, etc.) No limits.
- Stipulations: I want the RP to be an RP, not a smut-fest. Please keep everything within the limits and normal flow of the plotline. For example, if sex or violence comes up, that is just fine, but that should not be the entire focus of the RP.
- I respect your limits.
Pairings I Play
Honestly, if you give me a good story and can avoid the pairing cliches, I can pretty easily be talked into playing any pairing for most any genre. If you come at me with a girl not-so-cleverly packaged as a boy, I will laugh at you. If you are a despie who just wants your Mary Sue to have Prince Charming sweep her off her feet, I will laugh at you. If you demand I play a specific character or type of character, I will laugh at you. See the trend forming here?

- I want to avoid being stuck playing the charming man who sweeps your submissive character off her feet, and I promise not to make a female character like that, either. Break the gender stereotypes. Not all women are either total submissive pansies or total bitches who hate the whole world. Not every princess has to be either meek and mild-mannered or an amazing fighter. Maybe she's some mix of both! Give her a brain, real hobbies, etc. Why can't she like needlepoint and fencing? Avoid Rebel Princess Syndrome.
- Rarely in a relationship is one person purely dominant or purely submissive. It is a dynamic thing.
- Bedroom preferences do not always equal personalities, either. Mix it up!
- Please make your men real. Seme/uke or whatever you call it is not very realistic. Try not to be stereotypical without a really good reason.
- I have no issues with intersex, trans, genderless, etc. as long as it fits the plot and type of RP. It is fun to shake it up sometimes. I'd actually love more genderqueer RPs.
Extra Tidbits (Not 100% Necessary, But Good To Know)
- Please be open-minded about which gender(s) you will play and what roles you will have. Tell me your preferences, and I will try my best to oblige you. Try to force me, and I will likely just delete your email.
- I play characters, not genders. I may be super excited to use a male because I have a particular character I want to use. I might be super excited about a female/trans/[insert gender here] for the same reason. If you really want to play a certain gender, know you may have to be willing to deal with a narrower selection of characters.
- I have no problem with smut in a well-written storyline, but if I am pressed for time, tired, etc., I may ask that we fade to black.
- Your characters are YOUR characters. Go wild with them, as long as it makes sense for the RP. If we are doing a fandom, and you are playing a cannon, YOU pick the cannon you want to play!
- I generally do not like playing canon characters. I love to create characters from scratch and breath life into them. I feel weird playing a canon character. It is as though I am walking around in someone's head, forcing them to make moves that they may or may not really make. There are a few Fandoms in which I will play canon. Please see my genres page to see which ones fit this bill.
- I usually throw in side characters as is needed to keep a storyline going, and I welcome you to do the same. Unless I tell you otherwise, you are free to do pretty much anything you like with/to my side characters.
