Piper Barnes
Gender: Female
Orientation: Straight (though I could possibly fit her into other pairings)
Age: 23
Race: Human
Occupation: Thief
Personality: Piper is a bit cocky. She is good at what she does, and she knows it. Even so, she is cautious. There is no reason for her to make a spectacle of herself when doing so would put her face in the mind of everyone around. She knows that is a rather bad thing for a thief to do. She is full of fire, though, and around the few people she lets into her inner circle, she can definitely hold her own.
History: Piper grew up in a loving family of merchants. Her family was well enough off to keep their litter of seven children fed and clothed, but they were certainly not wealthy by any stretch of the imagination. The family lived in a small town a bit away from the capitol city. When Piper was 16, she was engaged to the village blacksmith's son, and she was set to start a new life of her own with him. However, her fiance grew ill and died before they were wed. Heartbroken, Piper decided to leave the village and try to start up a life in the city. As it turns out, she had gotten none of her parents' abilities as a merchant, and she found herself on hard times. What she did have, however, was a clever mind and nimble hands. It was not long before she was picking pockets as a petty thief. She started with small things like silk kerchiefs that could be sold. With enough practice, she eventually moved up to coin purses, and now she makes a handy living as a thief.
Looks: See picture. Other than a little copper glimmer to her hair when in the sunlight, Piper looks exactly like what she was: a pretty enough merchant's daughter. She uses this to her advantage, playing off the role to peruse the markets for likely targets. Slightly tanned skin, hazel eyes, brown hair, average height, and common stock prettiness all mark her as a normal young woman with no cause to take a second glance.
Powers: None.
