Eloquintha Watersborne
Gender: Female
Orientation: Undecided (i.e. she can play any pairing)
Age: 34, but as her race is a bit longer lived, she appears to be in her young twenties.
Race: Bettan
Occupation: Merchant's daughter
Personality: Eloquintha is very intelligent and book-smart, but as she has never been out of her village, she is not very world-wise. She is kind of stand-offish, preferring books to people. Anyone she deems as less intelligent than herself is not considered worth her time.
History: Eloquitha is the daughter of a well-off merchant in her mid-sized village. As such, she has led a fairly sheltered life and was given to the pursuit of knowledge. Nothing overly exciting has ever happened in her life, unless you count tidal waves in the house, which is nothing of concern for a Bettan, whose houses are built half in the water, anyway. Everything they own is water-proof (including the books, which are written on a specially waxed paper using a waterproof ink made of india ink mixed with ammonia, shellac, and borax).
Looks: See the picture. Bettan have both lungs and gills, and both fins and limbs. Her skin is a very pale blue, her hair is a mixture of blue and seafoam green, and her eyes are like white opals in that they have fragmented bits of colour that change shade depending on the light.
Powers: Eloquintha is very intelligent. She is an excellent swimmer due to her heritage.
